Our Blended Family

Once again it is NOT AN ACCIDENT you are here! We are so glad you have come to visit our site and we welcome you with open arms and the love of Jesus! 

Our vision for Blended Families is to impart the message of Jesus Christ and the  knowledge that God has a distinct, predestined purpose for each and every one of you and your family members. We have learned through many years of happiness, sadness, joy, pain, loss, triumph, trust, betrayal, and much more - That God absolutely is in control of our lives and our destiny. All we have to do is let go and let God! 

We want to help you through whatever struggles you may have - We want to hear about your successes, your ideas, and most of all, we want to help you become strong in the Lord and know that he has a perfect plan for your lives.

We have come to understand the true foundation of family - And while we are always learning, we have come to understand how very important it is to raise children up in the way they should go. We know that when we put God first in our lives, and we teach our children this, that they WILL become mighty men and women of God.

Many of us today have been through divorce, separation, loss, and upset caused by these. Society today dictates and teaches us that if we aren't happy with our spouse, we can just go find a new one! And while we're at it - ( remember we don't need to worry about how it affects the kids or anyone else, just do it society says!) find two or three, and maybe even explore that "Alternative Lifestyle" we have been thinking about. 

Well, we are here to tell you that amidst all the evil that is in the world today, there is hope! There is love, happiness, and much joy to be had. God wants each of us to know his love is everlasting and freely given - His grace and mercy is far beyond what we can comprehend or imagine.

He wants us to know that if we will allow him to work in our lives, we can come through anything, and come through triumphantly! 

My wife and I have been together ten years now. Prior to our marriage, we had both been divorced twice. I brought two wonderful children from two different marriages, she brought three beautiful children from two more.  With our marriage to each other, that makes SIX "I Do's " and FIVE divorces! 

Please know I am in no way condoning divorce nor do we speak of it as an appropriate avenue – We believe strongly in the marriage union and in reconciliation as Gods BEST path for you. We just want you also to know that we have “been there, done that” and through it all have triumphed over the enemy and his MANY attempts in MANY ways to bring us, our family, and our marriage down.

God has blessed us with and placed us in charge of six wonderful boys, all of which are becoming strong in the Lord. We have asked each of them to contribute to construction of our ministry and our web site so be sure to check back often as it is going to be growing, Praise God!

Remember, our children are a fantastic blessing from God - a powerful, precious gift that we must be ever so careful to be sure we do the very best we can to help them be all they can be and all that God has planned for them to become.

And, if you were counting, we only mentioned five children and I stated we had six. That is correct. We also have been blessed with and are raising a half brother of one of my two son's - that makes six. 

So, consider this - We have six boys, and my wife and I. That is eight. Then, we have the father of two of my wife's boys, and the father of her third boy. We are up to ten. Then we have the mother of my youngest son, and his half brother, along with the mother of my oldest boy and his step-dad. Now we are up to thirteen. My youngest son and his half brother have another, younger brother, and my oldest also has another younger brother. Now we are up to fifteen!

While I could go on, you can see that our "Blended Family" is somewhat large, and the most amazing thing about it is this - We ALL GET ALONG! We are friends, we help each other out, and we as believers stand in the gap for unsaved members outside our immediate home and believe for their salvation. We can and do Praise God that we do not have the worries and upset associated with supervised visits and restraining orders, we do not have the custody battles and all of the things that the enemy ( AKA The DEVIL ) will use to come against you and your family. Through the grace of God we have come through many of these issues and Jesus has shown himself mighty, and made our family strong in the Lord.

The bible says that the demons TREMBLE when we even whisper the name of Jesus, so you can imagine just how strong a family founded on the word of God is! That doesn't just make them tremble, it CRUSHES the Devil and his buddies like a bug!

While it has not always been easy, we now know that God was bringing us to this place - To this ministry so that we may share with you that it is possible - That God IS THERE - That Jesus IS ALIVE AND WELL.

So, no matter what your circumstance, no matter what your walk in life, or walk in the Lord, no matter what challenges you are facing, and while we praise God for all the triumphs you have, just know that God has a plan and a purpose for you and yours! 

Divorce, step kids, ex husbands and ex wives, step-dads, step-moms, step-brothers and step-sisters, uncles and aunts, on and on, everyone IS A CHILD of God with a purpose in this world and in Gods kingdom! God forgives our sins and our past, and makes our crooked places straight. He places our feet on his best path, and wants us to simply trust him and never doubt that he is in complete control - If we will do that, he will show us the way - AMEN!
